European projects developed by the AVEC network:
The European Label
QUALICITIES
Certified
AFNOR, the European label QUALICITIES falls under a quality
approach: it is awarded to the local communities, which try
to apply daily the European Charter of Cultural Cities and
Territories, adopted in October 2000 by the local
authorities, members of the AVEC network.
The cities and territories committed in this approach want
to sustainably develop their economy around their
patrimonial assets; they also wish to obtain powerful
management tools to achieve this goal.
Once obtained,
the European label Qualicities is, for the inhabitants and
the visitors, the guarantee that the city or the community
enhances its heritage permanently and improves the quality
of its services and its environment.

European universities and cities, on the initiative of the
AVEC network and with the support of the French Ministry of
Culture and communication.
It aims at developing an offer of
European courses of high level meeting the needs for the
local communities and facilitating the mobility of the
professionals through Europe.
The UEPCN is
thus both a European network of universities and a European
forum of exchange between students and teachers, in the
area of the management and the mediation of heritages.
