Between the 8 th and 10 th october 2010 the Birgu Local Council will organise a festival which gather traditional danse and music of Europe, street theatre, re-enactments… all of that in a magical ambience.

Before the traditional gastronomic festival of Santarém this autumn, the city organise this summer a promoting festival dedicated to the based ingredients of the Ribatejo gastronomy (Tomato, Olive oil and Garlic).
The Gourmets and the curious are expected in several Santarém district restaurants from the 31th July to31th August 2010.
